Meet Edú Bega
Latin-Caribbean Music in the Bay Area
Edú Bega is a Dominican singer, songwriter, and producer based in Petaluma, California. His music blends Latin Pop, Reggaeton, Reggae, Bachata, and a twist of Rock en Español — a fusion shaped by his roots and redefined through his life in Northern California.
Since relaunching in 2024, Edú and his band — experienced musicians with roots across Latin America and the U.S. — have built a reputation for high-energy shows that mix Caribbean groove, pop hooks, and live-band power.
That momentum has taken the band across the Bay Area, including a standout collaboration with the San Francisco Giants as the pregame artist for Fiesta Gigantes, celebrating Latino culture at Oracle Park.
With two albums already out — Indeleble (2019) and Tú Y Yo (2023) — Edú is now preparing Larimar, the new EP arriving August 20, 2026. He'll celebrate the release at Grand Central Café with the second edition of Music By The River, the band's annual summer show.
